The church of today in some ways resembles the church of the first century. But in other ways it has gotten way off course. I believe the church began not on the day of Pentecost but on the day Jesus performed his first miracle at a wedding in Cana. His disciples were at the wedding that day and it was at that moment that they put their faith in him. That is where a discussion of the early church should begin. It should begin where he revealed his glory to his followers. John 2:1-11
